Admission Process
New Member Selection evenings are held bi-monthly April, June, August, October, December and February. They are held the Monday night prior to the fourth Tuesday of the month. Once your completed application has been submitted to SYC along with the applicable ‘Nomination’ fee, you will then receive a letter confirming your application and you will be invited to attend a New Members Selection night.
Your Proposer and Seconder will also be notified to attend the night with you. The following night (Tuesday) all proposed New Members are then endorsed by General Committee for SYC membership. In turn, your confirmation letter of SYC membership will be forwarded along with your subscription invoice. (applications processed after the 1st May are charged on a pro-rata basis). Upon payment of your subscription, you will then be issued with your membership items including your electronic Clubkey for SYC access.
