You may notice over the next month or so, some of the OPTI fleet are bearing the markings of some of the largest boats in the fleet.
Some of the Division 0 owners, along with a couple of other interested members, have chipped in to reinvigorate the Club’s aging OPTI fleet by ‘Adopting an Opti’.
For the privilege of paying for an Opti, the members can have a new Opti decked out in their livery – so you will be seeing a mini Calm, a small Scarlet Runner, a tiny Terra Firma, a diminutive XLR8 and a young Goldfinger out in the pond.
There will be some ‘get togethers’ organised between those sailing on the bigger boats and their name sakes. If you would like to ‘Adopt an OPTI’ please speak to Kate Mitchell (0417 128 963) or Helen Tetlow (9599 0999).
