(incorporating the Yachting Victoria Junior Regatta and Selection Trials for the Victorian Youth and Junior Sailing Teams).
The Notice of Race for the 2008 OAMPS Insurance Brokers Victorian Youth Championship (incorporating the Yachting Victoria Junior Regatta and Selection Trials for the Victorian Youth and Junior Sailing Teams) to be held at the Chelsea Yacht Club, 5 and 6 April 2008 has been issued and on line entries are now open.
The Victorian Coaching Manager, Mark Jackson, extends an invitation to all Victorian Youth and Junior sailors, ages and skills to enter what is shaping up as one of the best Youth Regatta ever held. "We have already had strong enquiries from a number of classes and our intention is to provide a friendly regatta and excellent racing."
The OAMPS Insurance Brokers Victorian Youth Championship is an annual event for Youth and Junior Sailors aged under 19 years. The event is the selection regatta for the Victorian Youth and Junior Sailing Teams.
The Regatta is organised by Yachting Victoria and conducted on their behalf in 2008 by Chelsea Yacht Club . Open to all boats of all OTB classes and sailboards with a listed YV yardstick. Must be members of a Club affiliated with YV and be a current YA Silver Member
The event is expected to attract approximately 100 boats. Races should be of approx 40 mins in length and 8 races should be aimed for. For further information such as the entry form please click here.
