“On The Water” - Art Exhibition

Sandringham Yacht Club is presenting a colourful and exciting art exhibition. The works depict most aspects of water activitiy, from Wildlife, Boats and people enjoying this natural resource.
Melbourne’s dynamic and talented art group the Artful Dodgers will present approx 70 pieces of stunning artwork.
The group consists loosely of 15-20 artists with varying eclectic styles and enthusiastic talent. The name of the group was conceived by Rose Knight and friends during a lively and humorous bandying about of wordplay during a painting session (reflecting the “joie de la vie’ attitude of the group) and with the supervision of their mentor extraordinaire Terrence John Hadler (Artist in Residence of Manyung Gallery Mt Eliza) the group has excelled with many of it’s members achieving local art awards in a very short space of time.
Many of the artists are forging successful careers with their art so this exhibition is a unique opportunity to view and purchase some of our emerging talent.
And what’s Peter Russell-Clarke up to these days?....He has become an honorary member of the Artful Dodgers!”
