Welcome to new members - 29th October 2008
Welcome to the 26 new club members who met the Selection Sub-committee on Monday night.
Chris Carlile, Chris Waters, Peter Turrell and Steve Aulich spoke about the advantages of being a member of SYC and then it was the turn of the applicants to say a bit about themselves.
There is some good sailing talent in the group so skippers needing crew will be pleased.
After the meeting all new members enjoyed a drink and excellent sandwiches in the Members Bar where our Rear Commodore was photographed with new member Kathryn Page and her proposer David Satchen.
