Flight is a 30 year old UFO constructed of GPR. The design of FLIGHT has been based on the successful ½ tonner in the Solent from the mid 70’s called Unidentified Flying Object.
Paul and FLIGHT have been in the club for 8 years and are regular competitors only in the Wednesday Wonders and Thursday Twilight races as Paul has weekend work commitments that stop Saturday and Sunday racing (he is a lawyer turned baker, now half of the fabulous Baker Boys).Paul started sailing in 125’s and Hobie Cats.
Paul says, “Like an S&S 34 we enjoy the heavy weather when we can challenge the plastic fantastic modern designs up wind. We set out to have as much fun as we can with a competitive slant.”
FLIGHT usually spends a couple of months each year in Blairgowie.
