Bad Habits is such a great name for a yacht!!
Jan has had BAD HABITS (the boat – not sure about the habits!) at Sandy for the last 6 years. You can’t miss her as you walk towards the marina gate – she is the pretty boat in berth 3.
The boat is about 30 years old, made of fiberglass and weighs around 2 tonnes.
You will see Jan out on the water, single handed, at least three times a week – usually just off the race course watching what the rest of us are up to.
Jan says the boat is fantastic for short outings – but doesn’t sail well into the wind so he uses that as a good excuse not to race her.
Instead she is used solely for relaxing …… she does a stubby of light a mile ….. so Faulkner Beacon and back is a comfortable 6 pack trip……. We all need bad habits like that!!!
