Water Front Marina & Yard Facilities
SYC boasts a state of the art floating marina ~ by far the largest and most modern, fully serviced floating facility in Victoria and one of the biggest in Australia. SYC provide the best boating support facilities on Port Phillip, including a newly installed travelift, hardstand area and yard operations encompassing boat yard storage, yacht and power boat brokers, boat chandlery and rigging shop on site.

Wet Berths ~ Members
SYC's marina contains 326 floating berths with a depth limit for access of 3.5m. The maximum boat length is 20m and there is no height restriction. You can find the following services; water, 240w power, security lighting, fire fighting system and security patrols. Wet berth rental rate is $143 inc GST per foot per pen length per annum. Berthing is by wait list application only.
Visitor Berthing
Please contact the Waterfront office upon arrival. Visitor berthing is subject to availability and is based on a 1st come/1st tie up system. Upon arrival at the marina, tie up on the visitor berths (visitor berths are on the east side from and including rows D through to B on the marina). The maximum amount of free time availbale in the visitor berths is 48 hours thereafter a charge of $35 inc GST per night is applicable. For longer periods of stay contact the Waterfront office for an alternate berth in the marina proper.
Hardstand Storage - Members Only
There is limited dry storage for trailer sailers, hardstand trolley storage for class racing boats…etchells, 11 meter one design, J24's and diamonds. There is also a hardstand crane with 3 tonne lifting capacity on the premises.
The hardstand rate is $80 inc GST per foot per annum. The minimum size of boat is 22 foot. The boat owner is responsible for launch & retrieval.
Launch Ramp ~ Members Only
All tide double lane ramp. Senior Membership status is required to access the launch ramp. Senior membership will give you 24hr/7 days a week access. Senior membership is not capped and membership forms can be obtained from the office.
Travelift
A straddle - type lift is available for boats up to 40 tonne capacity. Max beam 5.9m. Max length on application.
